About the Course
This course equips participants with the necessary knowledge, skills, and performance outcomes to perform basic water rescues in both indoor and outdoor swimming locations. Learners will be taught to evaluate rescue situations, select appropriate rescue methods, and utilise a variety of equipment and techniques to deliver effective and timely rescue responses.
Ideal for individuals involved in sports, fitness, aquatic, or recreational organisations—including commercial, non-profit, community, and government sectors—such as swimming instructors, aqua exercise instructors, and outdoor recreation leaders.
